Actor Joe Gatto accused of inappropriate behavior by former employee
Joe Gatto, former star of Impractical Jokers, is facing new allegations of inappropriate behavior, just hours after denying a separate s3xual assault accusation.
A report published by People on Sunday cites an anonymous woman who claims she was s3xually harassed by Gatto while working for him during his time on Impractical Jokers. According to the woman, she first met Gatto when she was 15, but his behavior toward her allegedly became more flirtatious once she turned 18.
She claims Gatto asked her for back massages, invited her to his room to cuddle, and frequently questioned her about her s3x life. She also alleges that when she rejected his advances, Gatto became frustrated and treated her rudely.
The woman did not provide any physical evidence to support her claims, and Gatto has denied the allegations of harassment in his response to People.
This comes after a now-deleted TikTok video accused Gatto of sexual assault, featuring alleged messages from the comedian. In a statement addressing those claims, Gatto admitted to using “poor judgment” in the past and acknowledged that he had “violated the trust of the people” he loves. However, he maintained that he “wouldn’t assault anyone.”
Gatto has not publicly responded to the latest accusations.
