APC Officials Abducted by Bandits in Zamfara State
A group of armed bandits has recently carried out a brazen kidnapping in Zamfara State, targeting five officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The APC executives, hailing from Kaura Namoda South, were taken captive while en route to Talata Mafara on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
Among the individuals abducted are notable figures such as the Chairman of Dan Isah Ward, Yahaya Sani Dogon Kade, and the Chairman of Sakajiki Ward, Bello Dealer. This incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of political figures in the region.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama has shed light on the situation, revealing that the APC officials were en route to the residence of Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari when their convoy fell victim to a bandit ambush. The bandits seized the opportunity to take five members of the convoy hostage, further highlighting the precarious nature of the security landscape in Zamfara State.
