American actor Joe Marinelli dies at 68 after battle with cancer
Popular American actor Joe Marinelli, known for his roles in The Morning Show and other TV series, has passed away at the age of 68.
The actor died last Sunday. June 22, after a long and private battle with throat and stomach cancer.
His wife, Jean Marinelli, confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter.
Tributes have been pouring in following his death, including from fellow actor Mark Duplass, who worked closely with him on The Morning Show.
In a heartfelt message, Duplass said:
“We have lost a great one. Joe Marinelli lived in the rare air. He was a generous performer, beautiful human, wide-eyed positivist. I will miss him dearly. I will try to live my life a bit more like his. We all should.”
Marinelli’s passing has left fans and colleagues mourning the loss of a talented actor and kind-hearted soul.
