A Nigerian man has shared his experience with a past relationship of how he was underappreciated after gifting his girlfriend N100k.
One @OkontaTbaba on Twitter replied to a tweet on how women should be more appreciative to men no matter how small the gift they get from them.
According to @OkontaTbaba, he gifted his girlfriend N100k and a cake for her birthday, only to be told “I expected more from you.”
“This is what made me leave a serious relationship. 100k + cake for birthday but she para for me saying she expected more and that am working in the abroad. She knows my worth.
Na so I pause marriage plans. Am even ghosting her now. Thats a red flag. Too bad,” he wrote.
