LAWMA Assures Lagos State Of Quick Waste Disposal Services
Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has assured Lagos State residents that there would be prompt evacuation of waste during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration and after
LAWMA’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Muyiwa Adejokun affirmed the agency’s commitment to archive this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
He said:
“We have put in place logistics to ensure a waste-free celebration.
”Our men, with their trucks, have been directed to operate on a 12-hour basis, as well as go on a round-tripping, that is doubling their trips on waste evacuation.
”Our various supervisors are also on duty to ensure prompt picking of refuse.
”They will also ensure that our environment is kept clean before resumption of work,’’
