Biodun Stephen alleges EFCC officials
Biodun Stephen, Nigerian filmmaker, has narrated how operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) allegedly broke into her hotel room in the middle of the night.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the movie producer and writer said the incident happened recently while she was filming a project.

Biodun explained that on the said night, she was sleeping when she suddenly jumped up around 3 am after sensing some people moving around the door of her hotel apartment.

The filmmaker said she later saw “two men dressed in black weapons” who identified themselves as EFCC officials.

Biodun said she had blasted them for breaking into the room without her permission.

She said during the face-off, one of the officials had asked about her “partner” but later apologised before they eventually left her room.

“That is how I slept in a hotel whilst filming last week. Next thing, I open my eyes at a little past 3 am. What did I see? Two men dressed in black weapons. I thought I was dreaming. Then I heard the door to my room close,” she wrote.

“I sprang up and without thinking shouted: ‘stay right there!!! Who are you!!! They replied: ‘We are EFCC’. My head sparked. Are you kidding me? You enter into my room unannounced?? EFCC: Madam, we knocked but no response. You decided to enter my room?? You should have kept knocking.

“I was sleeping like every normal person would. One just opened his mouth and said: “Where is the man of the room. I was confused at first. The who? He replied: ‘your partner.’

“Anger well up inside me…Is this one roving mad man? His partner realised his folly because he quickly apologised. ‘You are not the one we are looking for.’”

The movie star said she could hear the officials interviewing other guests who had lodged at the hotel “rudely” before arresting some of them.

She said it is unfortunate that such an incident is gradually becoming the norm among EFCC operatives.

“I watched as they interviewed guests rudely and arrested a few. They knew the people they were after. I lost sleep afterwards. Then I heard, this is the new thing with EFCC,” she added.

“They burst into hotel rooms in the middle of the night. Not caring who you are, in what state you are. I mean, the hotel is a really decent one so I couldn’t understand how this could happen. They alleged that the EFCC barrages their way in…A mess I tell you.”

When contacted by the Press, Wilson Uwujaren, the anti-graft agency’s spokesman, dismissed the allegation.

Nickie dabarbie calls out Skiibii for attempting to use her for money rituals

Nigerians have been left in confusion as popular social media influencer Precious Kingsley, popularly known as Nicki dabarbie uploaded a concerning video on her Instagram page.

In the video she posted, Nickie dabarbie was clearly distraught, and she kept on saying that the men in the video wanted to use her for money rituals. The name she kept chanting throughout the video was Skiibii, and she said the whole ‘Mayana’ family was doing money rituals, and that is how they got money to buy cars.

If there was any doubt as to whether it was the singer Skiibii she was referring to, the name ‘Mayana’ is a clear indication that she was referring to him because it is a slogan that he uses a lot.

Although the video wasn’t very clear, if you look closely, you can see that the room she was making the video from was in complete disarray.

There were shards of broken glass all over the floor, and at some point in the video, you could hear one of the men asking her why she’s stepping on broken glass.

One of the men in the video kept on asking ‘which kain highness be this’, thereby insinuating that she was intoxicated. He also asked her to leave and go home, insinuating that she was not in her house in the first place.

Throughout the video, Nickie dabarbie kept on chanting names of girls that were allegedly used for rituals by a man named Skibbi. She said that her ‘head was too strong’, and that is why they were not able to use her for rituals.

One of the men approached Nicki dabarbie with a bottle of water in hand, and she immediately screamed hysterically that he shouldn’t pour the water on her.

The video ended with Nicki dabarbie praying furiously and screaming out her lungs.

Skiibii hasn’t responded to the allegations laid against him by the influencer, and it still isn’t clear whether he was in the video because it was a bit hazy.

This isn’t the first time Nickie dabarbie is being involved in drama, as not too long ago, she was involved in a fight with fellow influencer Cute Gemini.

Their fight got so serious that Nickie dabarbie was arrested and spent a few days in prison. When she got out, her fans hailed her for being strong, while they rained curses on Cute Gemini.
