Sofía Vergara reposts message about ‘narcissistic men’ amid Joe Manganiello memoir claims

Sofía Vergara has reposted a social media message about “narcissistic men” amid renewed public attention on claims made by her former husband, Joe Manganiello, about their marriage.

The message was initially shared on Instagram Stories by Vergara’s son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, and contrasted what it described as the behaviour of a good man with traits associated with a narcissistic man.

Vergara later reposted the graphic with a clapping-hands emoji.

However, the Modern Family actress did not mention Manganiello by name or explicitly state that the message was directed at him.

The posts appeared as excerpts and interviews surrounding Manganiello’s memoir, Bloodlines, brought details of their former marriage back into the spotlight.

In the memoir, Manganiello discusses a serious autoimmune illness he battled for years and alleges that the relationship became emotionally distant during his health struggles. Those descriptions represent Manganiello’s account of their marriage.

Vergara previously said disagreement over having children contributed to their separation, while Manganiello has since offered a different account, saying his health problems changed his plans concerning fatherhood.

Vergara and Manganiello married in 2015, separated in 2023 and finalised their divorce in 2024.

Bloodlines is scheduled for release on October 13, 2026.
