”There is Nothing Called Hell Fire, Prostitution Should Be Legalized in Nigeria”; Maheeda

Published

on

“I’m not a messenger. I am a human being. Just being human by living my life,” this was the exact reply of Nigerian ‘Mother of nudity and controversy,’ Maheeda when confronted in new interview says she recently triggered what could be termed as the biggest storm of controversy that rocked the Nigerian showbiz world with her nude pictures and videos, which exposed her hidden treasures.

For those who are not familiar with her, the question frequently asked, is: what the hell is the problem with this girl. For this nude star, there’s nothing wrong; she enjoys her way of life and that settles it all. Born Caroline Samuel, she does not give a dam over what anyone thinks about her.

Maheeda was recently interviewed and she opened up on why Nigeria should legalize prostitution. She equally said there’s no hell fire as many would think.

Read excerpts from the interview
Some persons are yet to understand Maheeda, who are you?

You can never completely understand God’s creation. But I am a full-package!!

You’ve not been active online like you used to, except postings on Instagram. What happened?

I’m as active as I can be for now… Busy with priorities such as education and family..

What are you up to lately?
I have been busy with self development.

To many, you are a sex symbol. Why is it so?

Ask them, it is not my thinking, it is theirs. But I believe in sex education and freedom though. It’s needed in Africa.

What really made you start putting those seductive videos online?

To get your attention and to show off my sexuality

What message are you trying to convey with your nude pictures and videos?

I am not a messenger. I am a human being. Just being human by living my life!!!

Do you make money from your videos?

Yes I do. Their use to be some kind of bet on my behalf. That’s how far I can tell you!!!

Some people have already condemned you to hell, because they see you as a prostitute, how would you react to this?

There is no hell!! Hell is in their mind… As for calling me names, I am not the first; someone might have called their mum or sisters that too at some stage, so not a big deal to me..

Have you ever been approached by persons willing to pay to have sex with you?

Yes. It is normal for some people desiring to have sex with me, I tease them a lot… But they can’t!

Some persons want prostitution legalized, what’s your take?

Legalizing prostitution is being done by some very developed countries. Are they stupid? Nah I don’t think so.. Is our country better than theirs? Well you answer that, if you ask me, legalizing it will make a great deference.

You once said you have sex every day, do you still do?

Yes!

You started out as a gospel singer, why did you dump that genre?

I didn’t start as a gospel singer.. Do your research well!!

How do your children, parents react when they see those video?

My people are fine with my choice of life, I am an adult…

Have you ever been sexually harassed by any man?

Harassment is normal in Nigeria, or from Africans, most of them are not being taught to respect women… Their parents give them reasons to misbehave. They say because a lady is naked, it is allowed to rape her or harass her. Bad teachings.
It is like saying because a new car is parked outside with the keys, you can steal it, it is the owners fault ..

We once heard you were dating Atiku Abubakar, what actually happened between the both of you?

Dating who? (laughter) Please give him my number ohh let’s start the dating.

Do you go to church?

No, I don’t go to church but I listen to preaching at home and I pray every day.

Do you think Nigeria should legalise gay marriage?

I don’t think for Nigeria. Nigeria think for herself

Would you support any of your children to take after you?

Will support my kids when they are 18 years of age in whatever they choose to do or be that will not hurt or kill somebody … I will not allow them to steal, as for my footstep, it is their choice … I am doing great by the way!!!

How do you overcome sexual urge whenever your husband is not around?

I masturbate

We heard of a crack in your marriage recently, how true is it?

God forbid! My marriage is growing stronger by the day! Love is growing stronger by the day. We are happy; very happy! Thanks to God!!
I do some yoga and masturbate or ask some help from my man for a great love-making.

Dammy Krane petitions police over rift with Davido, demands $500k payment

Dammy Krane has petitioned Kayode Egbetokun, the inspector general of police, over his lingering dispute with Davido.

The feud between the pair started in October 2023 after Krane called out Davido on social media, claiming he owed him for songwriting contributions.

Krane also accused the ‘Assurance’ hitmaker of sabotaging his record deal with Sony Music.

In response to the allegations, Davido labeled Krane “ungrateful” and claimed he received no payment for their collaborations. Davido also mentioned that he provided shelter and support for Krane when he was homeless.

Since then, Krane has continued to attack Davido on social media; even accusing him of being involved in the death of his friend Tagbo Umeike. Tagbo died from alleged alcohol poisoning in October 2017.

Davido dismissed claims and threatened to sue Krane for “defamation of character and cyberbullying”.

In a letter posted on his social media pages, Krane accused Davido of several wrongdoings while addressing five key concerns.

The singer alleged that Davido and his allies are threatening his life. He also called for the re-opening of Tagbo’s death case.

Krane pleaded with the inspector-general to help lift the restrictions on his bank accounts, which he claimed made it difficult for him to access his funds.

The singer also appealed to Egbetokun to get Davido to “pay me all the money he owed for the song ‘Pere’”.

He claimed Davido agreed to pay him $500,000 for their collaborative song but has refused to pay him.

DJ Neptune addresses Laycon’s claim of unpaid royalty

Published

DJ Neptune, the Nigerian disc jockey born Imohiosen Patrick, has addressed a fraudulent claim made by singer Laycon.

Last month, the rapper and former BBNaija winner called out the disc jockey over alleged unpaid royalties for their collaboration.

Laycon claimed the entertainer has yet to pay him his “agreement and split” for ‘Nobody (Icons remix)’. The reality star also frowned over the apparent “silence from Neptune for four years”.

But in a recent episode of the ‘Zero Conditions’ podcast, Neptune, while expressing disappointment in Laycon for calling him out on social media, stressed that he did not defraud the singer.

The entertainer said the issue stems from documentation. He said the song’s distribution deal included advanced marketing expenses that needed to be recouped.

Neptune also argued that Laycon’s team was offered a percentage of the royalties, but they declined the offer.

“Laycon is my brother regardless. Let me just establish here that nobody ate anybody’s money. I want to believe that you know the music business,” he said.

“When you have a deal with a distro company or a label and you’re being given advanced marketing money to push the music, the video, or whatnot. They have to recoup. It’s a return on investment.

“So that’s where we are with ‘Nobody Icons’ Remix’. What Laycon is fighting for is the documentation. In all fairness to him, he reached out to me. So it wasn’t like anyone was cheating anyone. When Laycon reached out to me, I referred to my legal team. I even asked him for his lawyer’s contact which he sent to me and I forwarded it to them.

“I’m not a legal personnel. I’m a creative. I have to perform and take care of my family. So I have put this in the hands of people who will handle it. And then there was a conversation that was ongoing — between our lawyers]. So I guess, maybe my fault was not going back to find out what was going on. But a certain percentage was proposed to Laycon’s team and they kicked back at it. And the conversation was just there.”

‘Nobody Icon remix,’ which also featured Joeboy, was released in October 2020 while the music video followed suit the following month.
