‘I never assaulted her’ — fiancé of lady who cancelled wedding breaks silence
David Okike, the man whose fiancee called off their wedding over alleged physical abuse, has spoken for the first time on the issue.
On Thursday, the lady, who identified as Ada Uburu, cancelled her wedding, citing rampant maltreatment.
Reacting via a Facebook post on Friday, Okike said though there were cases of disagreements, he never assaulted Uburu.
He said their relatives, including Uburu’s mother, can testify that he is not a violent or abusive partner.
