Nigerian Professor Named Among Those Dead In Mecca Stampede

A Nigerian pilgrim has been named among the over 400 people that died in the stampede today at the ongoing holy pilgrimage in Mecca.

According to twitter handle @mysanda, Prof. El-Miskeen, an indigene of Borno state and an illustrious son of the state died in the stampede. May his soul rest in peace.

Meanwhile, the death toll in the Mina stampede has reached 453.
