Elon Musk says he would rather be alone and spend time with his children
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has said he would prefer to remain alone and spend time with his children amid renewed public attention surrounding disputes in his personal life.
Musk made the remark on X while responding to a post discussing recent reports and claims involving members of his family.
The Tesla and SpaceX chief wrote that, at this point, he would prefer to be alone and spend time with his children.
Musk responds to family-related claims
The comment came amid online discussion about several personal disputes involving Musk.
In a separate response, Musk denied a claim that he had removed one of his children from health insurance, describing the allegation as false.
The public discussion has also involved disagreements with people with whom Musk has children, but several claims circulating online remain disputed or have not been independently established.
For that reason, the focus of this story should remain on Musk’s own public statement, rather than repeating inflammatory characterisations posted by other social-media users.
Musk is a father to several children from different relationships and has frequently spoken publicly about falling birth rates and his belief that people should have larger families.
His latest post, however, was more personal, suggesting he wanted distance from current public disputes
