The multiple explosions which hit the Nyanya and Kuje areas of Abuja on Friday and the suicide bombings and militant attacks in Maiduguri and Adamawa on Thursday, have been condemned by the United States in strong terms.
In a statement by the United States Diplomatic Mission to Nigeria, Public Affairs Section on Saturday, it extended the deepest condolences of the United States to the families and loved ones of those killed and injured.
It added that the US stands with the government and the people of Nigeria to defeat Boko Haram as well as other perpetrators of terrorism, through its security and counter-terrorism assistance.
