No New Roads Will Be Built – Babatunde Fashola
The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola revealed this while speaking to State house correspondents after the Federal Executive Council meeting at the state house Abuja
Fashola said the last administration awarded 206 road contracts worth about N2 tillion which have not been paid for.
He however said affirmately that no new roads will be built until FG has finished constructing the existing ones
He stated:
“What we have done was first to say that we would not award any new road contract. We would deal with the over 206 roads that have been awarded but not funded for over three years.”
