‘I’ve been depressed’ — Wisdom Macaulay apologises to Annie Idibia

Wisdom Macaulay, the brother of Annie Idibia, the actress, has apologised for his recent outburst.

Earlier, Wisdom had accused Annie of enslaving him, denying him his “dues”, and introducing him to hard drugs.

In a follow-up video posted via his Instagram page today, Wisdom begged Annie to forgive him.

He admitted that neither he nor his sister does hard drugs, adding he made the claims from a place of depression.

“I want to use this opportunity to apologise to my sister Annie, her husband, and the entire Idibia family. I also want to apologise to my mother, wife, and in-inlaws. I’m sorry for the outburst that occurred days back,” he said.

“I reach out to Annie’s colleagues in the industry to help me beg Annie to find it in her heart to forgive me. She is not on drugs. I have never seen it with her. I’m not on drugs either. I’ve been depressed for a long time now.

“I’ve realised that the route I took was not the right one. It was a lot to see your source of income is taken away. It is what led me to lay false allegations against my family members. I’m a movie producer and fashion designer.

“I beg meaningful Nigerians and others who want to give me a chance to establish myself and stand as a man. You can reach out to me. I’m deeply sorry. My sister and I are not on drugs. It came from a bad place. I apologise.”
