Please, I need a husband urgently, Eucharia Anunobi cries out

Eucharia Anunobi, the Nollywood actress, says she is searching for a man to settle down with urgently.

The film star was speaking about her marital values and specifications in an interview with BBC Igbo.

She said she hopes to get married to a man who has what it takes to be a husband.

“Please, I use this opportunity and tell the world that I want to marry urgently. A great man should show himself and put a ring on this finger of mine. My specification is a man who is God-fearing and handsome,” the actress said.

“He must be up to the task, having everything that makes a man male. You must be complete, that’s all I can say.”

On how much of herself she’s willing to give away in a film project, Anunobi said she can’t play nude scenes.

“I won’t act nude scenes in movies, even if I’m offered a houseful of money. I didn’t know there was anyone in their right mind in our industry who would want to go nvde in a movie, except if they’re p0rnstars,” the actress said.

“It’s not nudity that would spread the message we look to put out. It’s the word of mouth that does the job.”

It’s a miracle for me to have kids despite my spinal cord injury, says Yinka Ayefele

Yinka Ayefele, the ace Nigerian gospel singer, has dismissed claims he is not the biological father of his triplets.

On December 12, 1997, the singer was involved in a car crash that damaged his spinal cord and impeded his ability to walk.

Ayefele also welcomed a set of triplets with Temitope, his wife, in 2019 — much to the surprise of many as it is medically believed that it is difficult for men with his condition to impregnate a woman.

Speaking on the latest episode of Curiosity Made Me Ask, the singer wondered why people are curious about how he impregnated his wife.

He stated that “I did not buy my triplets”, clarifying that he impregnated his wife and she gave birth to their triplets naturally.

Ayefele said although a man with a spinal cord injury might not be able to impregnate a woman, his case was rare.

“I’m shocked you said you have three beautiful and amazing kids. My question is, how did you do it?” the host asked.

In his reply, Ayefele said: “How did I do what? Curious that I impregnated my wife? How did I get three kids? You would have seen pregnant women before. I impregnated my wife and she got pregnant and had triplets”.

“You thought I bought them? I do not understand what you mean. I know you are curious, you want to talk about my spinal cord injury. Anybody who has a spinal cord injury might not be able to impregnate a lady. Yeah, it is a fact, it is one out of a hundred.”

Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Terry Akewe, known as Terri, has opened up on the challenges he has faced in his music career, including health issues, cyberbullying, and sacrifices made in pursuit of his passion.

In a series of posts via X on Saturday, Terri revealed, “Ulcer complications, anxiety issues. In and out of the hospital. Crazy hospital bills, mum losing her mind, all for the music. Shit crazy. Jesus never fails. We go win finally.”

The artist, signed to Wizkid’s Starboy Records, rose to prominence after featuring on Wizkid’s track “Soco” and has since released his debut EP “Afro Series,” with hit songs like “Shuu,” “Turn on Me,” “Bia,” and “Same You.”

However, Terri’s journey, according to him, has been far from smooth, as he stated, “Lost friendships, family, just trying to find myself. Stanship war and distractions, something I know little or nothing about.”

Acknowledging the toll the industry has taken on him, Terri pleaded, “Please, just see Terri for Terri. This shit is my whole life…. Support my craft.”

The singer also revealed that he had to sacrifice his education to pursue music, saying, “2018, after getting admission into UNILAG three times and couldn’t make it cause of finances, I was ready in 2018 to begin study, I quit cause of this music. I gave my all to it.”

Terri further noted his struggles with cyberbullying, which has been a challenge, as he admitted, “Since I got in here, suffered so much cyberbullying, All I wanna do is sing.”

Will Stevens, the United States consul general, has picked Tems as his favourite Afrobeats artiste.

Stevens recently hosted Bright Okocha, the Nigerian comedian fondly called Basketmouth, at the US consulate in Lagos.

The two engaged in conversations surrounding the consul general’s favourite locations, food, and artistes in Nigeria.

Responding to Basketmouth on his favourite artiste, Stevens mentioned Tems, adding that the songstress “is incredible and one of the best”.

He said although he has met with some top Nigerian artistes, “Tems is the one that I can tune in anytime”.

He revealed that his favourite song by Tems is her rendition of Bob Marley’s hit ‘No Woman, No Cry’ in the sequel of Black Panther.

“It is got to be Tems. That voice… I got a little bit of crush. Just listening to her on the ‘Black Panther when she sings ‘No Woman, No Cry’… the Bob Marley. She is incredible. She is one of the best,” he said.

“I have met a bunch of them Fireboy, Asake, Davido. I have not met Burna Boy but they are great guys. Wonderful people. I know Nigerian artistes and I can jam to them a little bit. But Tems is the one that I can just tune in anytime.”
