A young Nigerian lady has courted controversy on social media after she posted a video of her ‘encounter’ with the Holy Spirit on TikTok.

In the trending video, the female student, identified as @bad_bennyy, said she started feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit during a lecture and had to leave the class so she doesn’t cause a scene.

The young lady, who was standing in a corridor in the video, said the power of the Holy Spirit was so heavy on her that she tried to suppress it by distracting herself but she couldn’t control it.

When she couldn’t hold herself anymore, she started praying and crying in what she described as ‘intimacy with her lover’.

Hmm it looks like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any points for first-time blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.

Gunmen, on Friday morning, attacked a mosque in Ughelli, Delta state, leaving 11 worshippers injured.

NAN quoted a resident as saying the attack took place at about 6:47am when some Muslim faithful were holding their morning prayers at the central mosque, located along Okoroda street in Ughelli.

The witness said many residents were jolted from their sleep by gunshots followed by loud cries from people inside the mosque.

“My name is Larry, I am commercial vehicle driver here in Ughelli. I live very close to the central mosque, so this morning at about 6.45 am we heard shooting at the mosque,” the resident reportedly said.

“Because of fear, many people in my compound were frightened and we remained inside only peeping through our windows.

“As the shooting lasted, we heard loud cries from some worshippers inside the mosque.”

He said after the invaders left, many residents thronged to the mosque to see what happened.

“As the shooting lasted, we heard loud cries from some worshippers inside the mosque.”

He said after the invaders left, many residents thronged to the mosque to see what happened.

He said the residents helped to evacuate injured worshippers, adding that the survivors suffered severe injuries.

Larry was quoted as saying some of the worshippers told residents that three persons were taken away by the gunmen.

Bright Edafe, Delta police spokesperson, confirmed the incident, saying only 11 worshippers were injured in the attack.

He, however, did not confirm the abduction of three worshippers.

“I just called the DPO at Ughelli and he confirmed to me that 11 persons were injured in the attack at the mosque,” he said.

“However, the police have commenced investigation into the incident and we will update you as we work to unravel the culprits.

“For now, no arrest has been made but I can assure you that we will get those involved.”

Prayer by men who maltreat their wives can’t be answered, says Mike Bamiloye

Mike Bamiloye, the clergyman, says prayer by men who maltreat their wives can’t be answered.

The founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries International spoke of men who subject their wives to maltreatment.

In a post via his Facebook page on Tuesday, he stated the prayers of men who hurt their wives can’t be answered.

“Men and bros, listen to me! Men and brethren, listen to me. When you are maltreating your wife, it is yourself you are doing!” the clergyman said.

“When you are hurting your wife, it is yourself you are hurting. When you are starving your wife to punish her, it is yourself you are starving.

“Listen to me, bros and men. Your prayers will not be able to turn the situation around when you are violent and inhumane and inconsiderate and unloving to the wife of our youth. She cries all night long, you don’t even care.”

Mike Bamiloye said any man who “insults, starves, punishes, or maltreats” his wife is ruining himself.

“She hurts terribly in her heart. You don’t even look in her direction. You abandon her at home with three or four children and go your way on a business trip and personal vacation, cruising from cost to cost,” the pastor added.

“You are only making a deposit to a bank of future calamity and you will make your withdrawals with full interest. You cannot miss your rewards, it is yourself you are doing. Well done.

“Clap for yourself for maltreating the wife you vowed in the presence of God and witness of the church to love and cherish in sickness, and in health, for better and for worse. You are doing yourself.”
