Zainab Balogun narrates how God healed her of Ovarian Cyst

Zainab Balogun, the Nigerian actress, has recounted how God healed her of ovarian cysts and endometriosis.

Ovarian cysts are sacs, usually filled with fluid or semisolid material that forms on or within one or both of the ovaries.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the 32-year-old British-Nigerian film star said she got to know about the medical condition in 2020.

She said even after previous surgery to get rid of the cyst, it “came back stronger” in 2022.

Balogun disclosed that she was advised to get rid of the left ovary and cyst through surgery to “protect” the right ovary.

She added that she was optimistic she will get through it, and with prayers, she got healed before the scheduled date for surgery.

“I have wanted to say these eight words for a very long time, that ‘I am the woman God has shown mercy’. The story started in 2020 when I discovered I had two ovarian cysts and I had to have surgery for that. I was also diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis,” she said.

“Fast forward to 2022, these cysts had reoccurred. The left cyst on my left ovary actually came back stronger than before. So I was told I have to undergo surgery to remove the left ovary and left cyst in order to protect the right one so that I can go ahead and do egg freezing.

“And I was saying ‘God by April I don’t want to see these cysts in my body again. I want something new, something different. April scans came, the cysts had reduced in size and I said, ‘God, I receive it, I’m grateful. However, this healing is not complete’.

“Surgery was scheduled for July 4. On July 1 I went to do my pre-surgery scans and before I left, I said to God that I want this scan to be different, and I felt it in my spirit that the Holy spirit was telling me, ‘Tomorrow, you’ll know.’

“So I went for the scan. The radiologist said he could see the left cyst, however, the right one has reabsorbed and I asked ‘what’s the difference in the size?’. He said, ‘I can’t see it, it’s not there anymore’.

“So I called my surgeon two days before my surgery and told him I’m not coming. I kept on praying because I was like “God what you’ve done on the right, complete on the left”. Then I went to see another doctor who now told me that I have a blocked fallopian tube.

“Beginning of September, I went for an MRI scan as recommended by this doctor so he told me it’s treatable and gave me the options I have. So I said “okay but when it’s time for me to do the egg freezing they are going to inject me with hormones so how is it going to affect the left cyst that is still there?”

“Then he told me there is no cyst, I asked what he meant and he said “thank God you didn’t have the surgery but there is no cyst in your body.”

I’ve been in love with girls my whole life, says Billie Eilish on sexuality

Billie Eilish, the US singer and songwriter, has opened up about her sexuality.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the 22-year-old revealed that she has had a lifelong attraction to women. She also said she is ready to fully embrace it.

“I have been in love with girls for my whole life, but I just did not understand — until, last year, I realised I wanted my face in a vagina,” she said.

Eilish said it took her time to accept this aspect of herself and criticised the pressure from the internet to disclose one’s sexuality.

She added that it is important to allow individuals to define their identity at their own pace.

“I was never planning on talking about my sexuality ever, in a million years,” she added.

“I have known people that do not know their sexuality, or feel comfortable with it, until they are in their forties, fifties, sixties. It takes a while to find yourself, and I think it is really unfair, the way that the internet bullies you into talking about who you are and what you are.”

Megan Thee Stallion sued for forcing cameraman to watch her have sex

Emilio Garcia, the former cameraman of Megan Thee Stallion, the US rapper, has filed a lawsuit against her over alleged sexual harassment.

According to NBC News, Garcia started working for the rapper as her cameraman in 2018 and remained in the role full-time until June 2023.

In the suit filed through his lawyers in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday, Garcia claimed he was “forced to watch Megan have sex with a woman”.

He said the incident allegedly happened inside a moving vehicle in 2022 when they travelled to Ibiza, Spain.

Garcia said he was “shocked by the overall audacity” of the rapper to “do this right beside me”.

He said he was left feeling “embarrassed, mortified and offended” after the incident.

In the suit, Garcia claimed during the trip, he was “taunted about my weight” and Megan made “fat-shaming comments” about him.

He alleged that the rapper told him to “spit your food out” and “you don’t need to be eating”.

The suit claimed Megan’s behaviour “created a hostile and abusive work environment” for Garcia, “making the conditions of his employment intolerable”.

“After a night out, plaintiff, Stallion and three other women were riding in a SUV together,” the lawsuit reads.

“Suddenly, Stallion and one of the other women start having sex right beside the plaintiff.

“Plaintiff could not get out of the car as it was moving and he was in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country.”

The lawsuit includes allegations of breaches of employment law for which Garcia is seeking financial compensation.

He also claimed he missed out on healthcare benefits after his role was “misclassified” as an independent contractor.

Garcia alleged that after the trip, he was told by Megan’s management, Roc Nation, that his services were no longer required.

He claimed that the termination of his employment was “in retaliation for my complaints of wage and hour violations”.

“More than once, Stallion interrupted plaintiff during dinner and demanded that he immediately shift his focus to assist with her TikTok creative ideas,” the suit reads.

Reacting to the lawsuit, Alex Spiro, Megan’s attorney, described it as “salacious accusations”.

“This is an employment claim for money with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court,” Spiro said.
