Cynthia Morgan, the Nigerian songstress, has reacted to the controversy trailing the recent comment by Joseph Aloba, father to Mohbad, the late singer.

Mohbad died under questionable circumstances on September 12, 2023, and was buried the following day.

On September 21, Mohbad’s body was exhumed by the police. An autopsy was carried out that same day after which the police announced that they were awaiting the results.

There were calls for the release of Mohbad’s body for burial, but Aloba kicked against it.

He requested for a DNA test to be conducted to find out the paternity of Liam, Mohbad’s son with Omowunmi.

He also accused Omowunmi of threatening to kill him.

In an interview, Aloba alleged that he was shocked to find out that his son had a will, unlike himself in his 60s.

In response to Aloba’s claim, Mohbad’s management, denied the existence of a will, saying “if there was one, it would have been duly registered with the probate registry”.

Reacting to the ongoing saga, Morgan said Aloba’s critics are “intimidating” him just like “Mohbad was bullied till his death”.

The songstress argued that Aloba could have not lied with his claim about Mohbad or his daughter-in-law.

“Mohbad was bullied till his death right in front of everyone now you are all shouting justice kinikon. Now you guys have started bullying baba mohbad. So you mean a grieving father is lying about all these things? Take for instance he is a rich man will his daughter in law dare say she wouldn’t go for dna? Ceasar to ceasar, God to God,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Anywhere wey you for see management write up no use your brain nai be say you no fit get sense again.”
