Palmer, Foden miss out as Tuchel unveils England World Cup squad

Thomas Tuchel has named his 26-man England national football team squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Captain Harry Kane leads the squad alongside Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice.

The squad also includes the return of Jordan Henderson and Marcus Rashford, while Ivan Toney and Ollie Watkins were selected among the attacking options.

However, several notable players were left out of the squad, including Cole Palmer, Phil Foden, Harry Maguire and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Others omitted include Jarrod Bowen, Morgan Gibbs-White, Luke Shaw and Fikayo Tomori.
