Davido rallies support for Adeleke ahead of Osun election
Afrobeats star Davido has declared his support for his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
The singer announced this in a post on X on Tuesday, saying he’s been focused on his album but will be in Osun for the campaign.
“Being so busy with my album n music as it should be, but tomorrow we hit OSUN for @AAdeleke_01,” Davido wrote.
He added that the Adeleke camp is not intimidated by any opposition.
“We no Dey fear anything we Dey ur back we believe in God 4+4 any intimidation nah for una back pocket,” he stated.

The “4+4” reference nods to calls for Governor Adeleke to serve a second four-year term.
