Former Fox News producer Jennifer Eckhart dies at 36
Former Fox Business producer and podcast host Jennifer Eckhart has died at the age of 36.
Eckhart was found dead at her home in Martin County, Florida, on September 19, according to local authorities.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said her death was ruled a suicide.
Eckhart previously worked as an associate producer with Fox Business and later became known for hosting the podcast REINVENTED With Jen Eckhart, where she interviewed public figures about personal and professional challenges.
She attracted widespread attention in 2020 after filing a lawsuit against former Fox News anchor Ed Henry alleging sexual assault and misconduct.
Henry denied the allegations. Fox News fired him in 2020 following an internal investigation into a complaint involving alleged sexual misconduct.
A federal court later dismissed Fox News from Eckhart’s lawsuit, while her claims against Henry were eventually settled.
Following her departure from the network, Eckhart also established The Reinvented Project, an initiative focused on supporting trauma survivors.
