Mbappe leads Haaland, Kane in Europe’s top league scorers since 2020

Kylian Mbappe has emerged as the leading goalscorer across Europe’s top five domestic leagues since the beginning of 2020, narrowly ahead of Erling Haaland and Harry Kane.

The ranking covers league goals scored in the English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 between January 2020 and September 2026.

Mbappe currently leads with 181 goals, having built much of his tally with Paris Saint-Germain before continuing his prolific form at Real Madrid.

Manchester City striker Haaland sits second with 179 goals, while Bayern Munich forward Kane follows closely with 178.

1. Kylian Mbappe — 181 goals
The France international scored heavily for Paris Saint-Germain before moving to Real Madrid, where he has continued to rank among La Liga’s leading forwards.

2. Erling Haaland — 179 goals
Haaland began the decade at Borussia Dortmund before moving to Manchester City, where he broke several Premier League scoring records.

3. Harry Kane — 178 goals
Kane combined his prolific Tottenham years with an impressive scoring record at Bayern Munich after moving to Germany in 2023.

4. Robert Lewandowski — 174 goals
The Polish striker accumulated his goals across Bayern Munich and Barcelona before leaving European football.

5. Mohamed Salah — 128 goals
Salah is the highest-ranked player whose entire total on the list came in the Premier League with Liverpool.

6. Lautaro Martinez — 122 goals
The Inter Milan captain has consistently ranked among Serie A’s most productive forwards throughout the decade.

7. Serhou Guirassy — 103 goals
The Guinea international built his tally across spells in France and Germany, including Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund.

8. Jonathan David — 96 goals
David scored the majority of his goals with Lille in Ligue 1 before moving to Juventus.
