RSIECs Blueprint for 2025 Local Government Polls Revealed
The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) has announced a general stakeholders meeting to reveal the timetable and guidelines for the 2025 Local Government Elections in the state.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the RSIEC Headquarters located at 239-243 Aba Road, Port Harcourt, beginning promptly at 2:00 PM.
In a statement signed by the Chairman/Chief Electoral Commissioner, Hon. Justice Adolphus Enebeli (Rtd), key stakeholders expected to attend include leaders of registered political parties, traditional rulers, security agencies, religious organizations, media representatives, professional organizations, civil society groups, NGOs, community-based groups, and the electorate.
The main focus of the meeting will be the official presentation of the election timetable and guidelines, laying the groundwork for the upcoming Local Government Elections throughout Rivers State.
All invited stakeholders are encouraged to be seated at the RSIEC Auditorium by 2:00 PM to ensure a seamless and punctual engagement.
