Chelle names Super Eagles final squad for W’Cup qualifiers
On Tuesday, Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle revealed the final 23-man squad for Nigeria’s upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe. This announcement comes after an initial provisional squad of 39 players was released last week.
These matches mark Chelle’s first official games leading the three-time African champions. The squad is comprised of three goalkeepers, six defenders, six midfielders, and seven forwards, showcasing a blend of seasoned veterans and promising newcomers.
