Arsenal unveil 3 signings for next season

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Arsenal are preparing for a busy summer transfer window, with at least three new signings expected ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Despite suffering a heartbreaking penalty shootout defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final, Arsenal enjoyed a memorable campaign, winning the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years under manager Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners pushed PSG all the way in the final before eventually losing 4-3 on penalties after a fiercely contested encounter. Attention has now shifted to strengthening the squad as Arsenal look to build on their domestic success and challenge again on multiple fronts next season.

There had been suggestions in recent months that Arsenal might need to sell players before making major additions due to financial considerations. However, respected journalist David Ornstein believes the club remains in a strong position to spend significantly this summer.

Speaking on TNT Sports, Ornstein highlighted several key areas Arsenal are targeting.

“The number nine position is interesting. A penny for the thoughts of Victor Gyokeres tonight, his first season, and he helped them to this final and then was put on the bench,” he said.

“Then the left-sided attack is a big priority for them, and they’ve been looking at it for a few years, and I think this may be the summer where they really go for something. They’ve got the options there.”

He added: “They want a six/eight midfielder. They want to strengthen at right-back as well.

“So when you tally up what they’ve got to do, you could see that outlay in the market from last summer repeated or even exceeded.”

Providing a further update, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano stated that Arsenal have already begun planning for the summer window and are expected to make multiple additions.

“Arsenal have already started working and planning for summer signings,” Romano wrote on X.

“At least three signings are expected, could be even more based on exits.

“Top winger the priority; midfielder and right back also almost guaranteed. Strikers situation to follow.”

According to reports from the Daily Mail, Arsenal are aiming to strengthen at least four positions during what is expected to be an ambitious recruitment drive.

The report also claims that several long-serving members of the squad could leave the Emirates Stadium as Arteta reshapes his team for another title challenge and a renewed push for European glory.
