Andrew Tate faces fresh UK allegations involving extreme pornography, child images
Social media influencer Andrew Tate is facing additional allegations in Britain involving extreme pornography and indecent images of a child, according to court documents made public during extradition proceedings in the United States.
The allegations form part of the wider criminal case British authorities are seeking to prosecute if Tate is extradited from the US.
British prosecutors allege that material found on devices linked to Tate included extreme pornography involving animals and indecent images and videos involving a girl who was 17 at the time.
The newly disclosed documents provide more detail about charges that had previously been described publicly in broader terms.
The allegations are serious, but they remain unproven claims contained in court and extradition documents.
Tate and his brother Tristan have repeatedly denied wrongdoing.
Tate fights UK extradition
Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami in July after British authorities requested their extradition.
They face a wider group of UK charges involving allegations including rape, trafficking for sexual exploitation, assault and offences relating to indecent images and extreme pornography.
The brothers remain in the United States while they challenge the extradition request.
Their lawyer has argued that the case against them is flawed and has disputed the prosecution’s presentation of the evidence.
British authorities say the alleged offences occurred between 2010 and 2017 and involve several complainants.
The Tates also continue to face separate legal proceedings and investigations in Romania.
