Auchi Poly bans students from bringing cars to campus
The management of Auchi Polytechnic in Edo state has banned students of the institution from bringing cars to the campus.
The institution broke the news in a circular dated September 22 and signed by G.E. Ihiokhan, its registrar.
According to the management, the directive followed disturbing reports of reckless driving among students on campus, which often endangers the lives of their colleagues and staff of the institution.
It said the ban will remain in place until the end of the institution’s ongoing examinations.
