APC campaign council cancels presidential rally in Kano
The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council has canceled its rally billed for February 16 in Kano state.
The cancellation was conveyed in a notice on Thursday by James Faleke, a house of representatives member and secretary of the council.
“Good evening all. Please be informed that the next Kano Rally for the 16/2/23 is hereby canceled. Signed. James Faleke,” the council tweeted.
No reason was given for the cancellation.
Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the APC, was in Kano on January 4 for a north-west rally.
On Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari was present as Tinubu took his campaign to Sokoto.
