Tom Holland was shaken up on set while filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day and was taken to the hospital after suffering a concussion.

Filming for the movie was paused on Friday, September 19, as Holland was treated for a mild concussion, according to Deadline. He is expected to return to filming in a few days, but is taking a break as a precaution.

No one else on set was injured, and a meeting is reportedly scheduled to adjust the filming schedule.

According to The Sun, Holland’s injury occurred during a stunt mishap. The outlet also noted that Holland and his co-star and fiancée Zendaya attended a charity event over the weekend.

The film is currently shooting in Glasgow, following previous filming in Scotland last month. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is slated for release in July 2026, though Holland’s incident may impact the production timeline.
