Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been voted the 16th best goalkeeper in the world. The 18-year-old and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini are the only Africans on the shortlist according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.

The pair earned only one point to make the list. The feat makes Nnadozie the number shot stopper in Africa.
Netherland’s Sari Van Veenendaal was adjudged the Best Goalkeeper of The Year. Veenendaal, who also won the best keeper’s award at the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France, earned 185 points to edge France’s Sarah Bouhaddi to second place.
