MC Morris, Nigerian comedian, has removed Portable, the fast-rising singer, from the list of guest artistes scheduled to perform at his forthcoming show.

The entertainer is billed to hold a star-studded show tagged ‘The Evidence’ in Toronto, Canada, on May 22.

In a post via his Instagram story today, the comedian cited Portable’s controversial personality as the reason for his decision.

He faulted the singer’s recent decision to sack his crew including his manager, promoter, and disc jockey (DJ).

The comedian also questioned why the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner has had two managers in less than a year.

“For those that are asking why I removed idamu adugboyin from my May 22 show. Talent is not enough, a beautiful song without a beautiful attitude is a beautiful nonsense,” he wrote.

“Two managers in less than a year, even sack innocent DJ that his job na to play song and scratch shaka shake I cannot koshi mero am sorry.”

MC Morris said all transactions initiated with the singer had been cancelled.

He also disclosed that he has written to the immigration to deny Portable the visa earlier approved for him.

“All transaction cancelled and ijoba danku am sorry, no one should use my invite please, I already wrote to immigration to deny the visa,” he added.

Portable had on Monday fired his crew. He also accused them of putting up “unruly” attitudes whenever he wants to mingle with new people.

CCTV footage shows Diddy punching, kicking Cassie in 2016

A shocking video from 2016 has surfaced online of Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs allegedly kicking, hitting, and dragging Cassie Ventura, his former girlfriend.

The hotel surveillance video, dated March 5, 2016, and obtained by CNN, captured multiple camera angles of the alleged assault.

In the footage, released on Friday, Cassie is seen in a black sweater with the hood up and duffle bag in hand calling an elevator in what the news platform reports is the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles.

The music mogul is then captured chasing the singer down the hallway in a towel. Diddy catches up with Cassie, striking and yanking her by the hair while throwing her to the ground.

The rapper also kicks Ventura twice while she stays on the ground, picking up her bag and dragging her back toward the hotel room.

The incident appeared to have corroborated several allegations made in a now-settled federal lawsuit filed by Cassie in November 2023.

In the lawsuit, the singer claimed she was trafficked, raped, and beaten by Combs on many occasions over 10 years.

The lawsuit labelled the musician a “serial domestic abuser, who would regularly beat and kick Ms Ventura, leaving black eyes, bruises, and blood”.

Diddy denied the allegations, calling them “offensive and outrageous”.

The rapper and Cassie’s relationship began in 2007. They made their public debut as a couple in 2012.

The pair, however, broke up after a heated argument in 2018.
