Davido’s ‘Timeless’ surpasses 1 billion streams – 4 months after release
‘Timeless’, Davido‘s fourth studio album, has surpassed one billion streams across major platforms — about four months after its release.
In a recent Instagram post, Davido celebrated the achievement by sharing the album’s success on streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Audiomack, YouTube, and Boomplay.
‘Timeless’, according to the post, garnered 191.1 million streams on Spotify, 275.7 million on Audiomack, 240.7 million on Boomplay, 123.9 million on YouTube, and 190 million on Apple Music.
Davido unveiled ‘Timeless’ on March 31.
On April 10, the body of work secured the 37th spot on the United States Billboard 200 chart.
The album also set its first-day streaming record for an African album on Apple Music in the same month.
