Police rescue three kidnap victims in Zamfara as bandits escape with injuries
The Zamfara State Police Command has rescued three kidnapped victims following a gun duel with armed bandits along the Gurusu–Anka Road in the state.
The spokesperson for the command, DSP Yazid Abubakar, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Abubakar said the operation was carried out on Friday, June 12 at about 4:00 p.m. by operatives of the Violence Crime Response
