I have not decided to run for president, says Emefiele
Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), says he has not decided to run for president.
On Friday, some groups purchased the presidential nomination form of the APC for the CBN governor, asking him to join the 2023 presidential race.
But on Saturday, Emefiele said he has not taken the decision to run for president in 2023.
He said this in a series of tweets on Twitter.
I am humbled by the growing interest of those asking that I run for the Office of President in the 2023 general elections: I have not come to that decision. I note and salute the sacrifices of those farmers and patriots going as far as raising personal funds 1/4
